I’m convinced that comparison is a woman’s worst enemy because it always leaves us feeling defeated.
I’ll never forget being in middle school, and how I didn’t really like who I was; yet I wanted everyone else to like me. I’d compare myself to girls around me and try to figure out who was liked the most, so I could be like them. It was crazy. Now I know all those girls were probably doing the same thing!
Oh how I wish comparison ended in middle school, but how often do we compare how we feel on the inside with how another woman looks like she has it all together on the outside. Then we secretly compete with each other.
Yet, God never wanted women to compete with each other. He wants us to complete one another by celebrating other’s strengths and embracing exactly who God created us to be!
