I don’t know about you but my circumstance, lack of sleep or even my perspective can affect my mood.
One afternoon I remembered it being really cold and rainy and I was feeling dreary, and wishing the sun would come out and cheer me up! Then I noticed my baby girl, who was 11-months-old at the time, looking out the window at the raindrops.
We had just adopted Aster from Ethiopia and everything was new to her. When I saw her kneeling beside our back door with her face pressed up against the glass, watching the rain trickle down the window, it changed how I saw things. Looking at the rain through her perspective changed mine.
Is there something that has you feeling down today? I wonder if God wants to help you look at it through a new perspective … maybe His perspective?
